Cory Beetley graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science-Pre-Law with a Minor in Legal Studies. While earning his undergraduate education he worked and interned in various law firms throughout Tampa and Orlando. He then made the decision to attend law school, and successfully graduated with his Juris Doctor degree from Barry University – Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, FL.
When Cory wasn’t in class he spent his time gaining legal experience as an intern and volunteering within the community and the law school. Cory was the president of the school’s Students’ for Equality organization, a representative for the Student Bar Association, volunteered with numerous other school organizations, and provided pro bono work for the Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida helping to provide legal services for low income individuals in various areas of law.
After earning his license to practice law in Florida and New Jersey, Cory continued to advocate for the community as an Assistant Public Defender. He has spent much of his educational and professional career being an advocate for those without a voice, the underprivileged, and his community. Prior to joining Nishad Khan, P.L., Cory was a solo practitioner providing legal services in real estate, business law, and estates and probate.
These diverse experiences have helped to provide Cory with the tools necessary to make a difference in each of his clients’ lives; which has always been of highest importance to him. His compassion for people, dedication to the practice of law, and his knowledge and experience make him a great advocate for your legal needs
