Matthew is an associate real estate attorney at Nishad Khan, P.L.
Matthew hails from the Hoosier state (Indiana) and moved to Florida to escape the cold winters of the Midwest. He earned his undergraduate degree in Journalism with a secondary major in Political Science from Indiana University. While there, he was an active member and held many key leadership positions in his fraternity, Beta Theta Pi. Following his active undergraduate career, Matthew attended Saint Louis University School of Law for his first year of law school and then went on to attend Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law for the remainder of his law school career. There, Matthew was member of Lambda Legal, a student organization that champions the legal issues important and relevant to the LGBT community. He also worked in a variety of fields while in law school from a large corporation that manages the intellectual property rights of celebrities and sports figures to a small nonprofit that works with organizations on a national level to take up important litigation aimed at furthering protections for our environment. Matthew also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources law while in law school.
Prior to joining Nishad Khan, P.L., Matthew was an associate attorney at a boutique real estate law firm in Downtown Orlando where he focused his practice on real estate, HOA and COA law, and related areas.
Matthew serves as the Social Director and Board Member of the Central Florida Gay and Lesbian Law Association, a voluntary bar association. He is an Orlando City soccer fan and enjoys exercising, going to the beach, and traveling in his free time.
